Zones athletes,
What a successful trip to Farmington,
New Mexico! You all did a great job, had some or all great swims...
best of all we won the coveted Spirit Award! (Way to go team!!!)
Kari Moore you would have been SO proud!
I am still trying to recover from
the exhausting week and I have recieved 2 emails of concern from
Natalie in Farmington. I hope it does not concern any IES swimmer
but I am obligated to send this to all as a courtesy to Wyoming
and Montana: Wyoming has reported that about 20% of their sweatsuits
were stolen Saturday during relays, warmups, behind the blocks
of a final race, at the warm up pool, and out of their tent during
the skits. They are very upset and wrote to the Zone director.
Montana also wrote and said someone stole awards out of a swimmers
bags and left a ransom note. I certainly hope that IES is not
involved and if so, would like to get these returned. Natalie
wrote that taking a banner or mascot for 24 hours is all in fun
but this goes beyond fun and is stealing. I have to agree. This
goes beyond funny.

all and be a part of such a wonderful team. I hope to see you
all back next year, unless or course you dequalify!
