Lauren Malthaner
is awarded the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American Award for 2006-2007!

November, 2007
     Lauren Malthaner was awarded the USAS Scholastic All-American Award for 2006-2007. This prestigious award is given annually to swimmers who complete the application and meet strict criteria that includes both the athlete's swimming times and academic record..

     1288 athletes received the award from all over the Unite States. Lauren is the only one from Inland Empire to receive the award this year.

     Lauren has swum in Inland Empire for 9 years. She has competed for Spokane Area Swimming for the past 2 years. She swam for Spokane Waves Aquatic Team for 7 years prior to that.

     Lauren is Inland Empire's Senior Athlete representative to the Board of Directors and attended the USA Swimming National Convention in California in September.
